The entrance to a multi-story building collapsed in Belgorod as a result of the impact of a Ukrainian projectile, the head of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said on his Telegram channel on May 12.
Gladkov reported on the massive shelling of Belgorod and the Belgorod region, carried out by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“On Kharkiv Mountain, as a result of a direct hit by a projectile on an apartment building, the entire entrance from the tenth to the first floor collapsed.”said the governor. He went to the scene of the incident.
According to representatives of the emergency services, this is a high-rise building on Shchorsa Street. Seven people were injured as a result of the entrance collapse. Residents are being evacuated from the house. Firefighters and first responders are working at the scene to remove the debris.
Photos posted on social media show that of the entire entrance only the attic floor survived, which was left “hanging” in place between the neighboring entrances.
