The regional traffic police department issued a notice about the serious condition of roads due to heavy snowfall that occurred on May 12 in the north of the Sverdlovsk region.
Due to snowfall, roads in the north of the region were covered in snow. The most difficult situation is on the Serov-Severouralsk-Ivdel highway. Due to low temperatures, ice may form at night.
“Due to the bad weather we urge drivers to exercise special attention and caution”– reported the press service of the Sverdlovsk traffic police.
Inspectors urge motorists to maintain a reduced speed, not reduce the distance when driving, avoid sudden maneuvers and overtaking and not drive on the roads with summer tires.
