A report on the circumstances of the death of a girl in an unfinished building in Moscow, where she fell through a ventilation shaft, was requested by the chairman of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, to the official Telegram channel The Russian Investigative Committee reports on May 12.
“The head of the department instructed the head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia in Moscow, Andrey Strizhov, to submit a report on the progress of the investigation and the established circumstances. “The execution of the order is under control at the central office of the Russian Investigative Committee.”– reports the press service of RF IC.
On May 11, 2024, a group of teenagers entered the territory of an unfinished building in Moscow to take photographs. While photographing, a girl born in 2009, who was on the 11th floor of the building, fell through the ventilation shaft. She died from her injuries at the scene.
The Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in Moscow opened a criminal case for a crime provided for in Part 1 of Art. 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Causing death by negligence”). Investigators are carrying out a series of actions necessary to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
