Russian air defense systems shot down several air targets approaching Belgorod overnight, Belgorod region governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on his Telegram channel on May 13.
“Our air defense system worked: several air targets were shot down when approaching the city. According to preliminary information, there are no victims.”Gladkov wrote.
As a result of an air strike in the Belgorod region, repelled by the air defense forces, in the village of Cheremoshnoye, a residential building, a bathhouse and a garage were destroyed after a direct hit by a projectile.
Gladkov noted that at the time of the attack there were three civilians in the house, but, fortunately, they were not injured and refused to be hospitalized. Residents were evacuated to their families.
In addition, five private houses and three cars in the village were damaged and a dry grass fire in the village of Ustinka was quickly extinguished.
