Two dogs attacked their owners in their home this Saturday in Matosinhos, Porto district, causing serious injuries to a woman and minor injuries to a man, an official source told Lusa.
Speaking to Lusa, a source from the Matosinhos-Lisa fire service said the attack alarm was raised at 2:32 p.m.
The woman was taken to San Juan Hospital with injuries to her feet, legs and arms. The 82-year-old fellow suffered minor leg injuries and was taken to Pedro Espano Hospital.
A source from the subregional command of the Porto region added that 14 people and six vehicles from the fire service of Lesa da Palmeira, the Red Cross of Vila do Conde, Porto PSP and a medical vehicle from the Pedro Hispano hospital were at the scene.
The dogs were collected.
