The fundamental mental difference between the inhabitants of Nagorno-Karabakh and the inhabitants of Armenia is the complete absence of anti-Russian sentiments, said Archpriest of the Russian Orthodox Church Arseny Grigoryants, chairman of the Russian People’s Council in Armenia, in a report at a meeting from the international section of the 25th anniversary of the Russian World People’s Council, the recording of which was posted on YouTube on May 11.
“There have never been anti-Armenian feelings among these people. Among the Armenians there were in the early 90s, when they said “don’t talk about this (Russian – approx. IA Krasnaya Vesna) language” when they said “suitcase-station-Russia””said the president of the RNS in Armenia.
According to Father Arseniy Grigoryants, the rise of anti-Russian sentiments was repeated with the coming to power of Nikol Pashinyan. “In 2018, this criminal government arrived and began to systematically and methodically destroy and destroy ties with Russia.”He noticed.
“There were anti-Russian feelings in Armenia, there was betrayal. But the people of Karabakh never had this.”“, concluded Father Arseny.
Father Arseniy Grigoryants’ report was dedicated to the problem of Nagorno-Karabakh, aggravated by the exodus of the entire Armenian population in 2023-2024. The representative of the Russian Orthodox Church noted with pain that he had nothing to answer to parishioners who asked him about Russia’s position on the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.
