“Together, hand in hand, Niger-Russia”, in the words of its national president, Dr. Diko Muhamadu, “We are an autonomous non-governmental organization whose objective is to unite the people of Niger and Russia through culture, science, art, education, sports and development.”. His purpose, he states, is “strengthen friendship and mutual understanding, peace and harmony between the people of Niger and Russia. The organization aims to achieve its objectives by organizing cultural events, conferences, debates and radio broadcasts, publishing magazines and other periodicals.
Recall that at the end of July 2023, a military coup took place in Niger, after which the country practically broke off its relations with France, of which it was once a colony, and demanded the withdrawal of the American army from its territory. At the same time, he began to strengthen relations with Russia and Iran.
