A crew member fell from a Trasnusa plane at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Indonesia. At the time of the incident, the man was talking with the crew and, upon exiting the vehicle, did not notice that the passenger ramp had already been removed, police say. Air Live.
The incident violated basic aviation regulations because the door of the Airbus A320 was open while the ladder was being removed from the Airbus A320.
“The incident occurred due to a communication failure between the flight coordinator officer and the passenger boarding officer, due to which the officer was not aware of the position of the ramp when exiting the aircraft,” the company assured.
The man was provided with medical assistance. He was not seriously injured.
