
A flame some 100 feet (30.48 meters) high forms a burning gas pipeline in Turkey on February 6, writes Britain’s The Sun newspaper.
The publication cites a video that circulated on social networks, where “heaps of fire are visible, rising high in the sky”.
According to The Sun, the images show “massive pipe burst” in Turkey.
“The column of fire was estimated to be about 100 feet high”– write the post.

Several videos show the same incident in Kahramanmarash, The Sun writes, citing Rudaw’s Iraqi edition. It can be seen that the fire has spread to nearby fields.
According to the Turkish state energy company BOTAS, due to the earthquake, the gas supply in the region was suspended. According to reports, the pipelines passing through Turkey were not affected by the earthquake and are still running.
BOTAS said it is working to conduct an inspection of all damaged gas infrastructure.
“The necessary work is being carried out in coordination with the gas distribution companies in the region so that the gas supply is safe for our citizens”said BOOTS.
The publication also writes, citing experts, that the death toll “it can reach 10,000”.
