Rapper and music producer Sean “Diddy” Combs has apologized for his aggressive behavior towards his ex-girlfriend after images of the aggression were published in the media.
“I’m really sorry. My behavior in this video is unacceptable. I take full responsibility for my actions in this video. I’m disgusted,” he said in a video posted on Instagram.
In surveillance video from 2016, the rapper appears to grab R&B singer Casandra Ventura as she waits for an elevator at a California hotel. In the pictures, the rapper can be seen in a towel pushing his ex-partner to the floor, kicking her and dragging her down a hallway.
The woman sued Combs in 2023, accusing him of domestic violence, sexual slavery and rape during a 10-year professional and romantic relationship. Casandra Ventura said she was controlled through intimidation, drugs and alcohol.
The lawsuit filed by Cassandra Ventura was one of at least four sexual assault lawsuits that were recently filed against the artist.
