The “black” collectors were fined for calling the debtor to Astrakhan too often, the press service of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the joint stock company reported on May 22.
The loan agreement was concluded between a resident of Astrakhan and a credit institution. Unfortunately, the woman was unable to repay the loan on time and she fell into debt. Employees of the creditor organization began to call and write to the woman up to 10 times a day, after which the Astrakhan woman turned to the bailiff service.
During the administrative investigation, it turned out that calls to the victim were made from numbers officially registered with an organization that is not included in the state register of legal entities that are engaged in the collection of overdue debts as their main activity.
By court decision, the “black” collectors assumed administrative responsibility. The punishment was imposed: a fine of 200 thousand rubles.
