Retired delegate (inspector) of the civil police (judicial branch) of Sete Lagoas, Hudson Maldonado Gama, 86, was burned alive in his home in this city in the interior of the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais by a former subordinate. which he resigned almost two decades ago. The fugitive is being sought by a large number of police from the state of Minas Gerais.
The suspect entered the home of his former boss, posing as a courier from a pharmacy who was about to deliver medications allegedly requested by the family of an elderly man. The former policeman’s guardian was still suspicious, but the fake delivery man eventually threatened him with death at knifepoint through the gate and forced him to let him in.
JInside the residence, the former agent, now 52, entered the room of the retired police officer, who had serious health problems and was unable to speak or get out of bed, and doused him with gasoline. Then, while the elderly man was burning to death, the former agent shouted to the elderly man’s guardian that he had been waiting for this revenge for 18 years, without going into details, and fled on the motorcycle he arrived on.
Using CCTV images, Sete Lagoas police identified the crime suspect as a former police officer who was fired from the corporation nearly two decades ago for his involvement in serious irregularities. It was then-Delegate Hudson who oversaw the internal administrative process and recommended the expulsion of a subordinate who had never forgiven him and was now carrying out a years-long plan of revenge.
