The Tomsk administration cannot announce tenders for the search for contractors for the repair of 4 schools, since the design and estimate documentation (DED) of the premises is still under examination, and for school No. 5 they will be looking for a new contractor , since the chosen one refused, I said. o Mayor Mikhail Ratner during a meeting of the City Duma on February 7.
The projects for the reform of 4 schools are being examined, the comments are corrected daily. Documentation expected soon.
“The deadlines that the ministry has set for us are quite strict. The task is to announce contests in the near future”Ratner says.
According to him, the contractor selected for the repair of school No. 5 refused to carry out the work and relates it to a poorly prepared estimate, due to changes in prices and rates.
Ratner believes that the task must be completed before the end of this year: the budget needs to be changed, bids must be announced and the renovation of the school completed.
He clarified that for the moment repairs have begun at school No. 38.
Also in the plans of the city administration, for the current year, to prepare a design budget for the repair of 11 more schools: these are schools No. 3, 11, 23, 25, 33, 34, 40, 67, gymnasiums No. 26, 56 and boarding school No. 1.
The city budgeted 63 million rubles for the execution of these works, and the region should add 71 million, however, the sum of all design and estimate documentation exceeds 160 million rubles.
In this regard, the construction department of the city capital is looking for ways to optimize these processes.
Recall that earlier it was announced that in the Tomsk region there are only 467 school buildings, of which 103 are 70% worn out, and 242 educational institutions – 50%.
The overhaul of 23 schools was planned for the academic term of 2022 and 2023 for a total of 2.2 billion rubles. At the same time, in 2023, it was planned to repair 7 school facilities in Tomsk: schools No. 5, 14, 22, 30, 38, 49 and the Physics and Technology Lyceum.
