The meeting with the leader of the LDPR, Leonid Slutsky, was led by the governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev. He announced this on May 25 on his Telegram channel.
“Today the president of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, Leonid Eduardovich Slutsky, arrived in Sevastopol on a working visit”wrote Razvozhaev.
He noted that this year the residents of Sevastopol celebrate the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Sevastopol from the Nazi invaders. Slutsky’s visit began with the wreath-laying ceremony before the Eternal Flame of the Monument to the Heroic Defense of Sevastopol in 1941-1942.
“We honor the memory of those who defended and liberated Sevastopol”writes Razvozhaev.
“Leonid Eduardovich has been a friend of Sevastopol for a long time and always supports our city both within the framework of our legislative work and in initiatives that are important to us”said the governor.
He said that they discussed the issue of the elections to the Legislative Assembly.
“We have fair and correct political competition in our city”Razvozhaev said.
He recalled that last year the “We are together” project began to operate. Shoulder to shoulder for the Russian victory.” He was initiated together with the leader of the LDPR Leonid Slutsky.
“This initiative united our “We Are Together – Sevastopol” headquarters, the “Shoulder to Shoulder” movement and the entire civil society of Sevastopol to help in a special military operation. When it is necessary to help the front, there is no division: there is a common goal: to bring victory closer.”“concluded the governor.
