The event “Terrorism as a social evil” took place on May 25 in the Special Republican Library of Chuvash named after LN Tolstoy, the press service of the authorities of the Chuvash Republic reports.
During the preventive conversation, attention was focused on the need for caution and vigilance during the SVO period.
The specialists of the special library introduced the students to the basic rules of conduct in the event of a terrorist attack and gave them some tips on how to protect themselves in case of a threatened terrorist attack. Readers were offered a selection of books from the library’s collections and “Look and Think” films on this topic.
Recall that on the evening of March 22, before a concert at the Crocus Town Hall in the Moscow region, a terrorist attack took place. Armed people broke into the building, opened fire on people and then started a fire.
According to the Investigative Committee, the death toll reached 133 people. In addition, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported 152 victims. In connection with this tragedy, March 24 has been declared a day of national mourning in Russia.
The terrorists tried to leave for Ukraine through the “window” prepared for them on the Ukrainian side, but failed. Four direct perpetrators of the terrorist attack and other people (11 people in total) have been arrested and an investigation is underway. Law enforcement agencies are working to identify all accomplices and organizers of this crime.
