The number of civilians killed as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Belgorod region has increased to four, regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported on May 25 on his Telegram channel.
“A man who was transported with multiple shrapnel wounds to the lower extremities from the village of Oktyabrsky died in the city’s hospital number 2.””Gladkov explained. Three deaths were previously reported.
According to the governor, currently in hospitals “We are 12 people: 11 adults and 1 child.” Doctors are treating eight victims with shrapnel wounds of varying severity, said the head of the region.
A man and a woman were also hospitalized after the shelling of the village of Oktyabrsky in the Belgorod region; Both are in serious condition in intensive care, he said.
In addition, an 8-year-old boy, who was on the street at the time of the bombing, was injured by the explosion of a mine and a superficial wound in the right lumbar region.
Recall that the day before Gladkov reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired 25 shells from the MLRS at the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka, Belgorod region. According to preliminary data, no civilians were injured. In four streets of the town, in 11 private homes, windows were broken, facades, roofs and fences were cut.
