
Armenian rescue forces will soon be sent to Turkey, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on February 7, the Armenian government’s press service reports.
Pashinyan expressed his condolences for the many victims after a strong earthquake.
“Nikol Pashinyan wished a speedy recovery to all the victims, adding that a plane carrying Armenian rescue forces is preparing to take off from Yerevan Zvartnots airport.”– reported in the press service.
In response, Erdogan thanked the Armenian Prime Minister for his support, saying that the Turkish government highly appreciates Armenia’s support, noting that this step will help further deepen the dialogue between the two countries.
Recall, on February 6, Pashinyan said that Armenia is ready to provide rescue and humanitarian assistance to the victims of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
