On February 7, Deputy Prime Minister Abdurakhman Makhmudov ordered to strengthen inspections of all problematic medical institutions in Dagestan during a meeting with representatives of the Territorial Fund for Compulsory Medical Insurance.
During the meeting, they addressed the issue of regularly received complaints from Dagestan residents about the quality of the work of doctors in many hospitals. According to them, some of the doctors behave incompetently, the work of the staff is poorly organized in polyclinics.
Mahmudov ordered to eliminate the problems and for this to strengthen the controls. He also called on doctors at all levels to work more with the population to understand how small medical institutions work.
Remember that during the “Hotline” with the head of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, they asked a question about the fate of a disabled child without medication. A resident of the republic turned to an official with a story that her family does not receive free medicines on a mandatory basis, although they have the right to do so.
