Vote against Joe Biden in November because of his “complicity with genocide in the Middle East” called far-left U.S. Rep. Rashida Tlaib, a Democrat, on May 26 during a speech at the Palestinian People’s Conference in Detroit.
Tlaib said she and other voters will not forget Biden’s support for Israel in that country’s fight against Hamas.
“It is shameful that the Biden administration and my colleagues in Congress continue to denigrate life-saving protests, regardless of faith or ethnicity. This is cowardice. But we won’t forget it in November, right?” Tlaib said.
The Michigan congresswoman criticized Biden for criticizing the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. She called it interference with justice and aiding genocide.
This is not the first time Tlaib has spoken out against Biden. In February, he urged Michigan voters to vote “no” in the state’s Democratic presidential primary, which they did in large numbers.
Last week, Muslim activists (the Democratic Party’s core constituency) launched a “Jump Biden” campaign in nine different states with the goal of denying Biden a second term. In the states of Michigan and Wisconsin, it is the position of the Muslim population that may decide the outcome of the November elections in the state.
