The mutual defense cooperation agreement was signed by Greek Defense Minister Nikos Panagiotopoulos and his British counterpart Ben Wallace. This was reported on February 7 on the website of the British Ministry of Defense.
“Greece and the United Kingdom today signed a new defense and security agreement aimed at closer cooperation for the benefit of each country’s armed forces”says the message.
As part of the military cooperation agreement, the countries will work together to develop innovative solutions to create new weapons, maximize military interoperability and reduce costs.
The signing of the document aims to eliminate security threats in the Euro-Atlantic region.
Remember that Greece is ready to send its S-300 missile systems from Crete to Ukraine if the United States sends Patriot missile defense systems in return.
