The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Moldova, Mihai Popsoi, and of Lithuania, Gabriel Landsbergis, signed an intergovernmental agreement on the exchange of secret information, as reported by the Moldovan minister on May 28 on his Telegram channel.
Popšoi previously arrived in Vilnius on a work visit; During his trip he intends to discuss with the Lithuanian authorities the issue of bilateral cooperation in the field of regional security. The meeting of the foreign ministers of the two countries ended with the signing of an agreement.
“Today, together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Gabrielius Landsbergis, we signed intergovernmental agreements on the exchange and mutual protection of classified information, as well as on technical and financial cooperation.”said the Chisinau representative.
The diplomat noted that this will allow countries to increase connections between government institutions in the social and economic spheres.
