The Russian government plans to allocate another 3.2 billion rubles to subsidize the construction of fishing fleet vessels in Far East shipyards, PrimaMedia news agency writes on May 28.
In Primorye, JSC Vostochnaya Verf from Vladivostok and JSC Nakhodka Shipyard from Nakhodka are building crabs. In the Khabarovsk Territory, JSC Khabarovsk Shipbuilding Plant.
They plan to give money to those who received investment quotas for the production of crabs for industrial and coastal fishing and committed to building crab farms.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin previously said: “The president noted that due to sanctions, ship construction is progressing behind schedule; “The restrictions apply primarily to spare parts and equipment.”.
For this we need another 3 billion rubles. And now subsidies will be allocated to companies to reimburse part of the costs of creating ships at the shipyards of the Far Eastern Federal District.
According to Mishustin, within three years “13 crabbers should leave their reserves here and these funds will help accelerate the launch of 7 of them”.
