
The court delivered the verdict against four residents of the Belgorod region on February 8, reports the press service of the regional Investigative Committee.
The young men are accused of a series of crimes committed with extremist motives, representatives of the investigation explained.
One of the defendants in the case in 2020 “through persuasion, persuasion, proposals, he also persuaded four defendants who shared the ideology of neo-Nazism and became members of the extremist community to participate”the police said.
Later, this group repeatedly attacked foreigners living in the Belgorod region in order to inflict bodily harm on them.
As a result of the attacks, one of the victims suffered moderate bodily injuries.
By a court verdict, each of the defendants in the case was sentenced to two years in prison.
