A meeting of heads of hydrometeorological (meteorological) services of military districts, branches and branches of the Russian Armed Forces is being held in the Baltic Fleet, the Information and Communications Department of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported in May. 29 on the official Internet portal.
Collection takes place over several days at various locations in the Kaliningrad region. The objective of the event was to increase the level of special training of hydrometeorological service managers. The participants will also summarize the results of the winter training period and determine the tasks of the hydrometeorological service of the Russian Armed Forces for the summer training period, analyze the state of hydrometeorological support to the operational and combat training activities of the Forces Russian Navy.
During the meeting, issues related to the status and development prospects of hydrometeorological support activities are discussed, as well as areas of cooperation and interaction with civil structures in the field of hydrometeorology and environmental monitoring. The participants in the meeting will have to develop recommendations to improve the hydrometeorological support system for the troops and the navy.
