From Kazakhstan, all restrictions on air travel to EU countries have been lifted, the press service of the country’s Ministry of Transport reported on May 31.
A committee of 27 EU member states decided to lift all restrictions, as it had been reached “Significant progress to ensure flight safety”says the message.
In addition, the press service of the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan noted that, with the assistance of the Kazakh embassy in Belgium, during the Committee meeting the delegation of Kazakhstan presented measures to eliminate previously identified criticisms. They were positively evaluated by the European Commission.
“EU experts note significant improvements in the effective functioning of the certification, control and supervision system in the field of flight operations, continued airworthiness, training and licensing of aviation personnel””, reported the press service.
A meeting of the Aviation Safety Committee of the European Commission took place on May 15 with the participation of representatives of aviation authorities from 27 EU countries.
