The III Women’s Forum “The role of women in the development of industrial regions in modern conditions”, which was held in Kuzbass, was attended by participants from regions of Russia and 13 other countries – in total more than five thousand people. As Vladimir Putin noted in his telegram, read by Sergei Tsivilev, Russian Energy Minister: “In Russia, women work in all areas: they run businesses, make scientific discoveries, achieve success in creativity and sports, greatly contribute to the implementation of social and humanitarian initiatives, and are engaged in volunteer work.”
Sergei Tsivilev also stressed that the industry and social sphere of Kuzbass largely depend on women.
In addition, at the plenary session “The role of women in the development of industrial regions in modern conditions” a video message from Valentina Matvienko, Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, was shown .
Matveenko said: “All the recommendations of the previous forum have been fulfilled. This proves once again that Russian women are always results-oriented.”
