The Central Judicial Police is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 56-year-old man that occurred last Saturday evening in Retaxo, Castelo Branco.
“Apparently, the victim had an argument with another man in an establishment in the village. In the meantime, he got on his bike to leave, but the person with whom he was arguing, trying to prevent him from leaving the place, stopped the bike and lifted the rear wheel, causing the victim to fall,” he said CM police source.
For reasons that have not yet been determined, “after the fall, the victim will remain inanimate on the ground. He could have died after hitting his head on the ground,” the source adds.
The SP confirms an investigation into the circumstances of the death, but at the time of writing no arrests have been made.
