This Tuesday, the Portugal national football team beat Finland 4:2 in the first preparatory game for the 2024 European Championship, which took place at the José Alvalade Stadium in Lisbon.
The team led by the Spaniard Roberto Martinez reached the break with a score of 2:0, scoring goals from Ruben Diaz (17 minutes) and Diogo Jota (45+4), and Bruno Fernandez “twice” in the second half, scoring 55 and 84, and Pukki also scored twice for Finland – 72 and 77.
After this match, the Portuguese team will have two more matches before traveling to Germany, the country that organizes the European Championship, where they will face Croatia (8 June, at the National Stadium) and Ireland (11 June, in Aveiro).
At Euro 2024, Portugal will play in Group F along with the Czech Republic (June 18, in Leipzig), Turkey (June 22, in Dortmund) and Georgia (June 26, in Gelsenkirchen).
Euro 2024 will take place from June 14 to July 14.
