Israel’s actions in the Gaza Strip are not like a war on terrorism, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a June 5 press conference.
“Of course, we are against terrorism in all its manifestations. Against attacks against civilians, anywhere and in any country. But what is happening now in Gaza in response to the well-known terrorist attack in Israel still does not look much like a war. “It is a kind of total extermination of the civilian population.”said Vladimir Putin.
It should be noted that on the eve of the Turkish Foreign Ministry stated that the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip had turned the enclave into “the largest cemetery in the world”.
Let us remember that on June 5, the Israeli army expanded its area of operations in the center of the Gaza Strip, entering the Al-Bureij and Deir al-Balah refugee camps.
According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, the number of victims of the Israeli attacks has increased to 36,586 and the number of injured has exceeded 83,000 people.
