Air defense systems protect Crimea and effectively repel Ukrainian attacks. This was announced by the head of the republic, Sergei Aksyonov, on June 6 on the Crimea 24 television channel.
“The enemy periodically evaluates us: a reconnaissance aircraft flies over the coasts in search of options on how to avoid the coverage areas of electronic warfare and air defense systems. But our air defense systems are working effectively.”– said Aksyonov.
“As for air defense systems, only God can give a one hundred percent guarantee. Our colleagues and soldiers from the Ministry of Defense effectively carry out tasks in this regard.”added the head of the republic.
He noted that Russian air defense systems are 95% effective.
Aksyonov emphasized that these cases of hits are often simply fragments of fallen missiles.
“Somewhere there is a warhead, a defeat is occurring, somewhere we see from the large missiles that a defeat has occurred, but the warhead fell vertically and everything that was there detonated at a certain moment.””explained the head of Crimea.
