The Russian Investigative Committee closed the criminal case against taxi driver Aipbek Latipov, who threw the SVO participants out of the car, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported on June 6.
“Due to lack of evidence of a crime, the criminal proceedings against the Kyrgyz citizen were terminated”says the publication of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The incident occurred in early June: Telegram channels published a video allegedly from the scene of the incident, in which people on the MKAD highway said that a Kyrgyz taxi driver threw them out of the car after learning that they were members of the SVO.
According to him, the taxi driver immediately stopped the car on the deserted Moscow Ring Road and canceled the order.
The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under article 282 of the Criminal Code: incitement to hatred, enmity and humiliation of human dignity. The head of the department, Alexander Bastrykin, demanded to know the progress of the investigations in this case.
