Covid Vaccines May Be Responsible for Surge in US Deaths Study

Covid Vaccines May Be Responsible for Surge in US Deaths Study

COVID-19 vaccines may be partly to blame for unprecedented increases in death rates in the United States and other Western countries in the three years since the pandemic began, according to a study by scientists at Vrije Universiteit in the Netherlands. , writes The New York Publication of June 6.

Analyzing mortality data from 47 Western countries, scientists at Vrije Universiteit in the Netherlands found that excess mortality “has remained high” since 2020, despite the widespread rollout of COVID vaccines and various containment measures. Their study was published in the peer-reviewed scientific journal BMJ Public Health.

The researchers said the trend was “seriously worrying” and urged heads of government and policymakers to “to thoroughly examine the underlying causes of persistent excess mortality.”

Covid vaccines may be partly to blame for “unprecedented” rising death rates in the United States and other Western countries, a study has found.

“Although COVID-19 vaccines have been provided to protect the public from morbidity and mortality caused by the COVID-19 virus, suspected side effects have also been documented.”the researchers write.

“Serious injuries and deaths following vaccination have been reported by both healthcare workers and citizens in several official databases in the Western world.” – says the study.

“During the pandemic, politicians and the media have emphasized every day that every COVID-19 death matters and that every life deserves to be protected through COVID-19 containment measures and vaccines. After the pandemic, the same principle should apply.”scientists say.

The study found that there have been more than 3 million additional deaths since 2020 in the US, Europe and Australia. Of those additional deaths, more than 1 million occurred in 2020, at the height of the pandemic, according to the study. However, these excess mortality figures remained high in the following years: 1.2 million in 2021 and 800,000 in 2022, the researchers added.

Excess deaths include deaths directly attributable to the virus, as well as deaths resulting from “the indirect impact of public health strategies aimed at controlling the spread of the virus and infection”notes the study.

The researchers added that serious side effects from the vaccines have been documented, including ischemic strokes, acute coronary syndromes and brain hemorrhages.
