Ukrainian authorities launched a missile attack on Lugansk. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense on June 7.
“Residential areas of the city of Lugansk were deliberately attacked by five US-made ATACMS missiles”says the message.
According to the department, the missile attack began at 11:00 Moscow time. At the same time, some of the missiles were shot down by the Russian air defense forces. However, one of them hit a five-story residential building in Lugansk. As a result, one of the entrances to the house completely collapsed.
According to the LPR Ministry of Health, about 50 people were injured and four died. Doctors hospitalized 46 people, including four children. At least ten victims are in serious condition in city hospitals.
In addition, as a result of the missile attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the city, two schools, a college, several university buildings and three kindergartens were damaged.
