According to the results of work at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), agreements for the implementation of investment projects totaling 50 billion rubles were signed in the Yaroslavl region. This was stated by the head of the region, Mikhail Evraev, as reported on June 7 by the press service of the regional government.
The key event of the SPIEF was President Vladimir Putin’s speech.
“The participation of the President indicates that the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is the most important platform for dialogue, a promising place for negotiations and business meetings”“said Evraev.
During the forum, the Yaroslavl region presented its investment potential, as well as projects in various fields.
The region agreed with the Tensor company to increase investments in the construction of a data processing center from 1 to 12 billion rubles.
At the SPIEF site, the governor held negotiations with the S8 Capital holding company on the development of the Yaroslavl tire plant.
In addition, the Yaroslavl region agreed with the St. Petersburg International Commodities and Raw Materials Exchange on the development of competitive purchases of goods from Yaroslavl producers.
In the environmental field, the region signed an agreement with the Russian environmental operator for the construction of two waste sorting plants.
In the field of transport, the Yaroslavl tram park project will be carried out.
The governor also discussed with the president of Kalashnikov the modernization of the Rybinsk factories that are part of the corporation.
In the field of tourism, Mikhail Evraev discussed the development of tourism projects with the general director of the Tourism.RF Corporation Sergei Sukhanov.
SPIEF 2024 became a productive event for the Yaroslavl region, allowing it to attract significant investments in various sectors of the economy.
