The number of attempts to repeat the Unified State Exam will be limited until the end of the admission campaign, so as not to disturb the start of the academic year, said Anzor Muzaev, director of Rosobrnadzor, in an interview at the St. Petersburg International Center. Economic Forum (SPIEF) on June 8, TASS reports.
In his interview, Muzaev said: “Increasing the number of attempts requires understanding that we will have to change the academic year and the admission campaign, but no one will do it. Therefore, there are no plans to expand this measure.” _
On February 29, speaking before the Federal Assembly, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that school graduates should have the opportunity to retake the Unified State Exam in one of the subjects before the end of the admission campaign.
The first stage of the Unified State Exam was held from March 22 to April 22. However, according to Rosobrnadzor, during this period the possibility of resumption was not foreseen.
