There is no shortage of medicines in Russia, Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko told reporters at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on June 8.
“There are no major problems today”Murashko said.
Murashko noted that to reduce the risks for patients, a data market was created based on the labeling system, which makes it possible to make predictions about the availability of medicines on the market.
The data mart creates a transparent experience for patients and consumers. It also helps to predict the situation in pharmacies, which makes it possible to plan production volumes in advance and evaluate the drug needs of pharmacy chains.
Recall that, according to Roszdravnadzor data for 2023, the share of domestic medicines on the market over the past three years has increased by almost 10%, their share is about 70%.
