In the Republic of Mari El, interregional competitions of professional competition for the titles “Best forest feller-2024” and “Best operator of harvesters and transporters-2024” were held, the press service of the authorities of the Chuvash Republic reported on 8 of June.
More than 40 lumberjacks from the regions of Mari El, Chuvashia, Tatarstan, Karelia, Kirov, Nizhny Novgorod, Moscow, Bryansk and other regions of Russia took part in various professional competitions.
Spectacular competitions were held in the central square of the city of Yoshkar-Ola: pruning branches, changing chains, combined cutting and precision chopping.
The transporters competed in the loading and unloading of logs and in the Tower discipline.
The winner in the overall classification was the team of lumberjacks from the Chuvash Republic.
