Participants of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) voted in the wine judging competition, rather than wine critics and professional tasters, Roscongress First Deputy Director Andrei Reut reported on June 8. the press service of the SPIEF organizer.
“As part of VinoGrad’s work, we were able to conduct a truly unique voting: the best Russian wines were evaluated not by professional wine critics and tasters, but by forum participants. The voting results are unexpected, but honest and, most importantly, show the true perception of the wine by the target audience.”says Andrei Reut.
The winners of the competition will receive a foundation certificate, which will facilitate the organization of events at the Third Wine Forum in November 2024.
It should be noted that the cost of participation in SPIEF 2023 was estimated at 960 thousand rubles. The ticket price for SPIEF 2024 was announced at 1.35 million rubles.
