Terminating political and economic cooperation with Israel would be an effective measure by Islamic countries, acting Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Bagher said, CNN Turk reported on June 8.
In an interview, Bagheri notably said: “In our opinion, the most effective initiative that Islamic countries can take is to end political and economic cooperation with this regime. (Israel – approx. IA Krasnaya Vesna) and with it a boycott of all imports and exports”..
It should be noted that Iran’s permanent mission to the UN declared on June 7 that Israel’s attempt to launch a military operation against the Lebanese group Hezbollah would lead to a military defeat of Israeli forces.
Let us remember that on the night of April 14, Iran attacked Israel with hundreds of drones and approximately 150 cruise and ballistic missiles. Although Israel was warned about the attack and NATO air defenses were used to intercept the targets, not all of the missiles were intercepted.
