Hamas leader says he has ‘no idea’ how many hostages are still alive

Osama Hamdam, a top Hamas leader, said he was not aware of the current conditions of the 120 hostages remaining in the Gaza Strip, adding that he had “no idea” how many of them were alive. “Nobody has any idea about this,” he assured in an interview with the publication. At the latest G7 summit in Italy until June 15, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said he hoped Hamas would accept the latest US-backed ceasefire proposal at a time when negotiations are again blocked. “We said this is a positive step, but we need to see the facts on the ground, we need to know what the president said [dos EUA] “I mean precisely a ceasefire, the withdrawal of troops,” Hamdam said. “I think that if the US administration acts positively, seeing the situation not only through the prism of Israel, we can soon reach an agreement,” he said. added.
