The heroic city of Sevastopol celebrated the 241st anniversary of its founding. This was announced by the city’s governor, Mikhail Razvozhaev, on June 14 on his Telegram channel.
“The inhabitants of Sevastopol spent this day together with their beloved city”wrote Razvozhaev.
In the morning, on the square in front of the Sevastopol State University, Sevastopol youth unfurled a huge Sevastopol flag measuring 20 x 30 meters.
Today in the city parks concerts, dances, creative master classes and domino tournaments were held.
With the help of volunteers, residents sent postcards to special operations soldiers on the front lines with words of support.
In the evening on the summer stage “Shell” a large concert “Sevastopol is the main character” took place with the best creative groups of the city and with the support of the Sevastopol Symphony Orchestra.
“Yes, today we can’t hold a big concert in the main square, but that doesn’t make City Day any less joyful for us.”writes Razvozhaev.
