Two girls who wrote blogs in Ukraine, in which they ridiculed Russian citizens who support the Northern Military District, were shot dead in Vinnitsa by a young man, the husband of one of them, the Ukrainian publication Telegraph reports on June 15. .
The publication claims that the dead girls, Vera Panther and her friend Natasha with the nickname “Banderovka”, were broadcast online. However, these data still require confirmation, the journalists clarified.
According to the publication, the murder occurred on June 13. During a conflict over personal relationships, a 23-year-old man opened fire with a pistol in a residential area of Vinnitsa. As a result, an 18-year-old girl died and her 19-year-old friend was seriously injured. The man who opened fire was the deceased’s husband, Ukrainian police said.
The victim was able to call an ambulance. Law enforcement officers managed to enter the third-floor apartment through a window. However, the 19-year-old later died in hospital.
A young man who fled the scene was later found on the banks of the Southern Bug River with a gunshot wound to the head. According to preliminary data, the boy committed suicide.
According to the publication, the dead girls were known on the Internet for their videos in which they ridiculed Russian citizens. Vera Panther had 48 thousand subscribers on her TikTok social network page. Her friend “Banderovka” had 13 thousand subscribers.
The girls actively conducted live broadcasts on the platform, during which they actively interacted and communicated with Russian citizens who supported a special military operation in Ukraine and often ridiculed them.
