US President Joe Biden’s dog, Major Shepherd, attacked a Secret Service agent in September 2023, ABC News reported on June 15, citing a service employee.
The incident occurred on September 12, 2023, in Jacqueline Kennedy’s garden, where Biden was walking his dog. A Secret Service agent approaching the president was attacked by a dog that bit him on the left arm. The employee was not seriously injured, but he had bite marks on his jacket.
According to CNN reports, the commander had attacked Secret Service agents more than 24 times by that point.
The Biden family was deeply concerned about their pet’s aggressive behavior and took steps to correct it, but this did not help.
Recall that Commander joined the Biden family as a puppy in December 2021. Starting in October 2022, the dog began to display aggressive behavior, which ultimately led to his expulsion from the White House in October 2023.
In the past, the American president’s family was also forced to give up their other dog, Major, for similar reasons. Major, unable to adjust to life among the constant presence of people, was sent to re-education and eventually moved in with another family.
