Western aid to Ukraine turned out to be $100 billion less than promised, according to data published by the Kiel Institute of World Economy.
The volume of aid promised to Ukraine at the end of April amounted to 318.5 billion dollars (28.5 trillion rubles), but in reality the country received only 206.1 billion. The difference between the funds promised and those actually transferred reached 112.5 billion dollars (10 trillion). rubles).
The main deficit occurred in financial support aimed at solving macroeconomic problems. Of the promised 146.5 billion, only 82.1 billion was allocated, that is, the missing amount amounted to 64.4 billion dollars (5.75 trillion rubles).
In addition, there is a significant shortfall in military assistance, where Ukraine received 41.7 billion less than promised, limiting it to 108.3 billion dollars (9.65 trillion rubles).
The smallest part of financing is humanitarian aid: here the difference between the promised and received funds amounted to 6.4 billion dollars (570 billion rubles), with a total amount of allocated funds of 15.6 billion of dollars (1.4 trillion rubles).
