Reformatting the “Tavush in the name of the Fatherland” movement will make it bigger, said the leader of the movement, Archbishop of the Armenian Apostolic Church Bagrat Galstanyan on June 15 at the forum “Processes of border delimitation and conclusion of a treaty of peace, the Problem of Artsakh”, organized by the Union of Armenians of Russia in Yerevan.
Galstanyan emphasized that all responsibility for the clashes between protesters and police on June 12 lies with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his team. The protest leader noted that the Armenian authorities are ready to do anything to keep their seats and the Armenian police are busy justifying their actions.
“Considering who is fighting against us, we decided to reformat our movement”Galstanyan said.
He called on all political and social forces in the republic to join the protests. This is the last invitation and no more excuses will be accepted, the archbishop emphasized.
According to him, the street fighting strategy will be changed. Perhaps the most traditional methods and strategies of struggle are not used and politicians who did not exist before appear in the movement.
