One of the teenagers injured in an accident on a pedestrian sidewalk in Blagoveshchensk is in serious stable condition in the intensive care unit, the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Amur Region reported on June 16.
“Of the four victims of the accident that occurred on Vasilenko Street, one remains in intensive care: a 14-year-old boy. Her condition is considered stable and serious.”the message said.
Local doctors consult with specialists from federal medical institutions about their treatment, the regional Ministry of Health said.
Recall that on June 14, the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported an accident on Vasilenko Street, in which a drunk driver born in 1965 lost control. As a result, the car flew onto the pedestrian sidewalk at high speed and ran over people walking there.
Three people died at the scene and two in hospital. Four more victims are in the hospital. On June 15 and 16, three of them (a 19-year-old girl, a 14-year-old boy and a 32-year-old woman) were transferred from intensive care to the hospital’s trauma department.
