The cost of March futures for WTI crude oil fluctuates around the $78 per barrel level, according to the New York Mercantile Exchange on February 10 at 8:30 Moscow time.
The cost of a barrel of WTI crude oil for March delivery during trading on the NYMEX stock exchange amounted to $77.7, 0.4% less than the previous trading day. West Texas oil price fluctuates near the $78 per barrel level for the third day in a row.
The Brent oil futures price with the closing date of March 2023 on the ICE London exchange is $84 per barrel, 0.6% lower than the previous day.
The fall in oil prices occurs in the context of a more restrictive monetary policy by the world’s central banks. Additionally, stock speculators are reacting to reports that the US government is preparing new sanctions against China, Iran and North Korea, helping to circumvent restrictions imposed against the Russian Federation.
