84 municipal roads are awaiting major repairs in the Moscow region before autumn, the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure of the Moscow region reported on June 17.
It is planned to restore the bearing capacity of the road surface, subgrade, road edges and, on some roads, change the type of surface from unpaved dirt to asphalt. The road should be widened and other types of works will also be carried out.
The works must be carried out in 18 districts of the region. The total length of the roads under repair will be about 50 km.
Work is currently being carried out at 24 sites in Krasnogorsk, Yegoryevsk, Chekhov and Zaraysk, Shchelkovo and Shakhovskaya. On the street Major repairs to Podlipki-6 in Kolomna have been completed.
The largest volume of work will be carried out in Kashira, where 22 roads will be renovated, in Yegoryevsk – 11 roads, in Stupino and Serpukhov – nine roads each.
