The Russian Consulate General in Houston has asked local authorities in advance to provide heightened security measures on the anniversary of the start of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, as threats against it continue, the head of the diplomatic mission said. Russian, Alexander. Zakharov, February 10 reports TASS.
“We applied early to local law enforcement agencies, the State Department’s Diplomatic Security Service and the Houston Police Department, with a request to ensure better patrolling and security of the Consulate General during this period. We hope the local authorities will treat this with understanding.”Zakharov said.
He said that the threats against the diplomatic mission continue, although they have become less than in the first months after the start of the NWO.
For example, in the second half of 2022, two threats were received about undermining the Consulate General. “Then we were forced to evacuate the team and take action. Groups of sappers arrived at the scene and inspected the area. Fortunately, the mining reports turned out to be false.”said the diplomat.
Zakharov noted that, by the principle of reciprocity, US law enforcement agencies respond to his messages about possible threats.
