Germany wants to deport illegal Afghan immigrants through Uzbekistan without the consent of the Afghan authorities, writes the German magazine Der Spiegel on June 16.
“At the end of May, a delegation from the German Interior Ministry visited Tashkent with the proposal to transport Afghan candidates for deportation from Germany to Tashkent and then to Kabul using the private airline Kam Air.”writes the magazine.

It is clarified that Afghans without refugee status will be deported.
At the same time, Germany is not going to negotiate directly with the Afghan authorities – the Taliban (an organization whose activities are prohibited in the Russian Federation). Uzbekistan has reportedly promised to help in the deportation of illegal Afghans.
At the same time, Uzbekistan did not waste the opportunities presented to it and first asked to conclude a migration agreement to regulate the entry of Uzbek skilled workers into Germany.
The magazine also reports that the exact number of illegal Afghans planned to be deported through Uzbekistan is not yet known. According to some reports, 13,000 Afghans live in Germany, some of whom have the right to reside in the country.
